Digital watermarking hides the copyright information into the digital data through certain algorithm. The secret information to be embedded can be some images, text, author‘s serial number, or even company logo. This secret information is embedded to the digital data such as images, audio, or video to ensure the security, copyright protection, data authentication, and identification of owner. The watermark can be hidden in the digital data either visibly or invisibly. During the transferring of multimedia-based information from one device to another, multimedia signals are being transmitted over a certain amount of bandwidth. For this information to be efficiently sent, they must be expressed in a shorter form in such a way this information can be accommodated by the transmission medium and the storage resource.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
When digital photography era arrived, people tend to simply take another person’s photos without permission or legal right from websites, as well as by other means. Usually, whenever they found a beautiful photo, they will download it and save it to their device then show it to the world like they own it. This creates a situation where the rightful owner does not have evidence to prove that the photo is his.
The data compression is one of the major areas of the research in image processing applications. More multimedia-based information is being transmitted over the internet and wireless networks with the use of computer and internet technology. The raw data to be transmitted consumes huge bandwidth and requires large storage space resulting to the need to represent the information in the data with fewer bits by using data compression techniques. At the same time, the data compression technique must be able to reconstruct the data very close to original data.
OBJECTIVES
•To propose a new method called DCT-DWT-SVD with Huffman Algorithm to produce images with high degree of compression while it’s information can still be preserved. •To develop DCT-DWT-SVD with Huffman Algorithm and simulate it based on the proposed method. •To evaluate and analyse the performance of the proposed method.

RESULTS
CONCLUSION
This project has focuses on producing image with high degree of compression while it’s information can still be maintained. The transformations that were used in the process of watermarking on a host image are Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). Meanwhile, Huffman coding will be used as the compression technique. Hopefully, any lacking in this project can be improved and developed successfully, hence making it easier to be used by the society.
